What Is Treatment Like With Implant Retained Dentures?

A CBCT scan is needed before treatment to establish the amount of jawbone available. We will also need to thoroughly examine the condition of any remaining teeth and establish if any extractions are needed before placing the dental implants. If you do not have sufficient jawbone density at present, our dentists can refer you for a bone graft.

Your implant surgery is performed under local anaesthetic, and your dentures will be a highly compatible aesthetic match for your mouth shape and facial anatomy. Before we can fit your permanent dentures, your jawbone will enter a healing period, during which we will provide you with temporary dentures.
