Teeth Whitening

All three of our teeth whitening options involve the use of custom-made whitening trays. Treatment time ranges from a few days to two or three weeks (depending on the starting shade of your teeth and the desired aesthetic outcome).

Our premium teeth whitening brand is from Enlighten, which we recommend to patients who wish to achieve a guaranteed shade B1 (this is the whitest natural tooth enamel can go using teeth whitening gels). Enlighten is the only brand to offer this guarantee. It is also possible to whitening your teeth by up to 16 shades with Enlighten, making it well-suited to patients with severely discoloured teeth.

The steps involved include:

• Full consultation to check your teeth over for decay and gum disease prior to starting treatment.
• Digital dental impressions are taken to send off to the teeth whitening lab. Your whitening trays are designed.
• Whitening your teeth. Your whitening trays are ready to take home. Your dentist will advise you on how many hours per day or night to wear them for optimal results.

Dentist-prescribed take-home whitening treatment fits in around your daily routine. You also have the luxury of choosing to wear your whitening trays at night if you prefer. Simply go about your normal routine, whilst the whitening gel does the hard work for you. As the whitening trays are custom-made, they are very easy to get used to, so you will quickly relax into wearing them (you may forget you’re even wearing them altogether!)

Dentist-supervised take-home whitening treatment is completely safe. Safe levels of hydrogen peroxide are used, and the whitening trays are custom made to fit over the curves and grooves of each individual tooth.
